Meet King Jay
It began with a brave young man named Jayden, an athlete who had a very big wish but not a lot of time to see it come true. Just like his hero Lebron James, he wanted a pair of his very own custom sneakers. He shared his idea to Children’s Wish with a sketch and a simple question: could we fuse his favourite Nike sneakers into one perfect pair? With a timeline like no other, the answer was yes.
Bedridden, Jayden received his shoes and something incredible happened. He laced them up, got out of bed, and walked for the first time in weeks. Like any custom shoe, this pair needed a brand. Inspired by Jayden’s wish to unite many, his love of King James and the fire in his fight, King Jay was born.
